Lydia Bright

Lydia Bright, 26, launched her career in media on the BAFTA award winning reality series, The Only Way is Essex. Positioned as the shows resident fashionista, Lydia has been championed by the British press and singled out for her unique style and infectious personality. Having already graced the cover of Fabulous Magazine 4 times, and featured in shoots for publications such as i-D, Disorder, Glamour, Easy Living, More, Look and ‘ES’ Mag. 

Having already appeared as a brand ambassador in successful campaigns with Lipton Iced Tea, Playstation, Touch of Silver, Cadbury’s and as a face of the top selling TOWIE ‘Essexercise’ Fitness DVD (with Universal) Lydia connects with her audience on many levels, whilst still remaining down to earth and accessible. Lydia’s mum, Debbie, also a prominent character on TOWIE has clearly played a huge part in her upbringing.

Lydia not shy of hard work turned her hands to entrepreneurialism, launching her very own vintage inspired boutique, Bella Sorella, with sister Georgia in Loughton, Essex. The girls have already witnessed huge success selling clothes, gifts and beauty products to a core market of female fans. After 6 months of trading, the girls launched www.bellasorella.co.uk as an online fashion boutique shipping worldwide. Lydia acts a head buyer for the business. The sisters have also embarked on a successful ‘Pop-Up-Store’ tour of the UK with their boutique, visiting cities including Bristol, Portsmouth, Glasgow, Sheffield and Redditch, and they continue to have a presence at many city shopping centres ‘Student Lock In’ events too.

Lydia has a genuine interest in fashion and launched her own fashion collection ‘Lydia Rose Bright’ during the Christmas season of 2012. The collection grew from strength to strength with high street and online retailers including very.co.uk, Lipsy, River Island and Bank, the collection was also the 3rd best selling brand for online giants ASOS.com. Most recently Lydia collaborated with ‘Outfit Fashion’ which stock all Arcadia Group brands including Topshop and Miss Selfridge, for their Christmas and New Year campaigns in 2016. The campaign was a huge success so Lydia has been snapped up for their Summer campaign this year. In addition to this Lydia has also recently worked with Matalan for ‘The Show’ as well as modelling for their products.

Lydia writes a blog documenting her life and the trends and products that inspire her www.lydiarosebright.com has a loyal following of young fashion savvy individuals, and as such has lead Lydia to be a judge for blogging competitions for both Reveal and More Magazine, where Lydia has had a chance to offer her style advice and give make-over’s to competition winners. 

With TV presenting/appearances being a huge passion of Lydia’s, Lydia has appeared on beauty and fashion segments for This Morning and Lorraine, she is currently filming a tanning special for Lorraine the summer. Channel 4 spotted the tough cookie in Lydia and signed her up for ‘The Island’ and this year it was ‘The Jump’ which saw her make it to the final, being surrounded by Olympians and sports men/women, this was a huge achievement. Lydia is involved in a brand new Channel 4 project which launches in September this year.

Lydia appreciates the importance of giving back, and is actively involved in charity work with The Great Ormond Street Hospital, Breast Cancer Care and The Down Syndrome Organisation. Lydia embarked on a 500km bike ride across India in 2012 with her friend Denise Van Outen, the pair raised over £33,000 for Great Ormond Street. Watch this space for another adventure!
